A big thank you to conservator Jonathan Appell for leading a free gravestone restoration workshop at Mt. Zion, as part of his 2022 48 State Tour! Attendees learned techniques for cleaning, straightening, and repairing stones and were able to put those new skills to practice. Being held the day after Memorial Day, of special note are the repairs to the gravestone of WWI veteran William H. Jones.
